Fire Safety Essentials

The risk of fire and the resulting threat to human life is very real. You will no doubt be aware of the devastating consequences that a fire can have, but do you know how to prevent fires and what to do in the event of a fire?

This course aims to change the way you think about fire. It will help you to recognise and reduce fire hazards in your workplace, and will elucidate what you need to do in the unlikely event of a fire.

Aim

The aim of this course, is to provide trainees with the essential knowledge, skills and abilities of how they can minimize the risk of a fire outbreak at their workplace, the appropriate actions to take in the event of discovering a fire or upon hearing the fire alarm and how to select and use the appropriate first aid firefighting equipment.

Who should attend?

This course must be offered to ALL staff members. It's also ideal for new staff (induction training), who have never received any kind of formal training or staff requiring refresher training.

Venue

Our training can be provided at the most suitable day and time for you, ensuring business continuity and minimal disruption. We can travel anywhere on the island to deliver our training in-house (provided that the venues available meet the standards required).

If in-house training cannot be accommodated we can arrange the venue for you.

Course Duration

One Day Training course

Certification

On completion of this course, trainees will receive a certificate of competence valid for one year.

Post-course support

Post completion of the course and within the valid year, if trainee/s feel that they need a refresher course, this will be available free of charge (terms and conditions apply).
